    Say what?

Ray Beltran is #2 (after Crawford) and Ricky burns was number 1 or 2.

That burns was a 2 weight world champion and had defended his title multiple times?

Michael Katsidis, Kevin Mitchell, Jose Gonzales, Roman Martinez.

                He beat some decent fighters.

He was also ducked by Vasquez.

It's between Crawford and Pacquiao for me, and I give the edge to Crawford.

Crawford may not have beaten a better fighter than Tim Bradley this year but he also came from relative obscurity to take on three tough lightweights in sequence, and in hugely impressive fashion. People knew Crawford was good but I don't know if anyone thought he would look so good fighting at the top of the sport.

Pacquiao's win over Bradley is excellent and he performed great against Algieri too. I just don't think it's anything we haven't seen from Manny already. I don't want to take anything away from the Bradley win, but we all knew he was treading water fighting Chris Algieri. Crawford meanwhile hunted down big names in his division and took them out.
