Lol golovkin nuthuggers are so bad....hes never fought a good opponent only bums...floyd is a veteran and would give him way to many problems....so what if GGG cuts the ring off, still isnt gonna be able to land on floyd who is good at fighting in the pocket....

I swear you guys treat golovkin as if he is an ATG already icant wait till he faces an a level boxer who nulliffies his "tremendous power" lol

[QUOTE=dan_cov;15138736]I don't think anybody currently but he seems too think otherwise.

People can laugh but I still think the toughest fight out there for him is Matthysse.[/QU

Please give me a reason why Matthysse would beat Mayweather. I would love to hear it lol

There are plenty who have a great chance of getting the W over him, particularly at this stage of his career.Toughest part is getting him in the ring.

As long as there are Guerreros and Maidanas around, don't expect the toughest opponents.

Golovkin is wrecking all the top MW's; If limited ass Maidana was able to punk Floyd in the first fight and had Floyd hugging in the 2nd fight (with help of homeboy Kenny) won

          Imagine Golovkin in there

GGG has a big Jab, and hits very hard....And floyd doesnt have the same foot speed to avoid him for 12 rounds.....If GGG gets a solid hit on floyd
              ITS OVER WITH

I said I think Lucas would give him his toughest fight, nothing about him beating him though it wouldn't come as a huge surprise me. Why do I think he gives him so much trouble?
Floyd had trouble with Maidana x2, Oscar, Hatton, Castillo I believe he has trouble with pressure fighters who frankly don't respect his power, can cut a ring off and throw volume, a busy jab helps.
Problem is they all faded, Lucas won't, he gets stronger.

Matthysse has a very good jab, a tremendous engine, solid chin, ferocious power in both hands and his crudeness will work in his favour. Floyd can pick straight shots off all day. He can pick off one-twos, one-two-threes from the orthodox stance, its the purpose of his style. You can't try box with him or think about what he is doing, you have to pressure and overwhelm him, trap him where hes more squared and not throw shots that are easily picked off. Double up on your hooks, treble up, throw those big crude looping, chopping right hands from unconventional angles.
Maidana had the right idea in the first fight he just didn't have the tank to finish what he started. All this talk of Floyd adjusts, he made no adjustments, its just Maidana gassed out & eased off the pressure allowing him to stay center ring more.

If Maidana can trap him on the ropes like that and lesser fighters then Lucas can and will and hes twice the fighter Maidana is. He cuts a ring off better, he is faster, hits harder, better combination puncher, better finisher. Once he tastes blood he does not let you off the hook.

Maybe I am mad but I legitimately believe hes the toughest fight out there stylistically for Floyd. I ain't talking competitive, he gives him absolute hell but people will use the ''he lost to Garcia who is a lesser fighter'' line. Styles make fights and Garcia hits a lot harder than Floyd, I'd expect him to be a lot less respectful against Floyd and just cause Garcia took those shots don't mean Floyd can.
