I scored it for 1 round in Russells favor because he conconstantly pressed the action and never allowed movement to slow him down. Lomo I give for landing the more powerful punchs but I feel Russell pressed more often and out punched lomo. Though much didn't land, he pushed the fight, while Lomo tried to outbox.
    good grief

obviously, BigAlexSand is seeing what he wants to see. He should ask himself this...at the end of the fight, which boxer would you want to be? Clearly, it shouldn't be Russell...he got schooled. This is like someone telling me that a lit fireplace is cold.

Russell was schooled, all sizzle and no steak. He was beaten soundly and he realized it.

Are there rules to be banned for making such ignorant statements like this?

There should be... If this cat genuinely beleves Russell won that fight, then he doesn't even deserve to have an opinion on online boxing forums. Just in case some young little kid were to be accidently influenced by it.

Like I said, I believe it wwent either way! Have you even been in the ring before, put on gloves, actually competed. I have and ranked up on hell of a record ad an amateur before I torn my acl in my second to last fight and then detached a retina. I grew up boxing, and trained for most of my young life. It cracks me up when you think you know boxing and never done sh** in it. My trainer who came from the old times, said you can run as much as you want but if you aren't performing as much as your opponent, you deserve to lose.

I saw Lomo running to frequently... nothing more that I enjoy than a master boxer like Rigondeaux who attacks as well as move but in my eyes I didn't see that from Lomo. He would run for a round or two and only doing anything the last minute or 30 seconds. Rarely countering when a opening occurred; which was often but choose to try to steal the end of rounds. Russell although not perfect or great performed by constant attack and rarely back peddling even after hard punchs.

Lol I liked your predictions before the fight. You said GRJ would KO Lomachenko.

I had it 8-4 for Lomachenko. The only rounds GRJ won were the rounds that Lomachenko took off. Otherwise the difference in the fight was Lomachenko had far superior footwork than Russell and it made him hard to hit because Russell has most of his success against stationary opponents.

Who gives a **** who was throwing more? If that's how you scored this fight, you scored it wrong. Russell didn't even come close to landing scoring shots as much as Lomachenko. He missed an absurd amount of punches. You don't get credit for throwing and missing when the other guy is kicking your ass.

You keep trying to give Russell credit for his jab when he landed 4 ****ING PERCENT OF THEM. You're wrong here. I'd say I can't believe someone could score this fight for Russell, but this just proves my point that there is always someone who will find a way to score even the most obvious fights for the wrong guy.

IronDan should see this thread. I told him as much.
