Echo Arena, Liverpool - In a final eliminator for the British heavyweight championship, Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (10-0, 10KOs) demolished British veteran Michael Sprott (42-23, 17KOs) in the first round. Joshua rocked Sprott with a few punches that sent him stmbling backwards into the ropes. Joshua then jumped on him and unleashed a furry of punches with both hands until the referee jumped in to wave things off.

Early stoppage....Next year he'll be up against Kingpin. Should be fun to see if he can be the first one to stop Johnson.

Even if Kingpin goes down from a slip, the ref would stop it.

I don't know if I'd pick him so quickly over BY BY. BY BY got legs for days, amd Joshua looks to be a flat-footer.

I've always said Joshua is much more Bruno than Lewis.

I think him vs. Mansour, or Cunningham would be a great fight after Johnson.

AJ should fight Carlos Takam, if he fights K. Johnson next and wins. That would be two durable guys in a row, and a gradual continuation of stepping up.
