I know you're not bringing up FORMER judge C.J.Ross who shockingly turned in a 114-114 card for Canelo vs Floyd

But to your question .... Cotto would be easier in a rematch, because he is susceptible to the same punches and same strategy. His boxing style remains constant. The only thing different about Cotto today vs when he fought Floyd, is Roach, and that is extremely subjective. Especially since we only have as a reference, how many fights under Roach? And against, a compromised opponent (Sergio) at that!!!!

Cotto being susceptible to the same punches is irrelevant because Floyd is more susceptible to punches as Maidana showed. Floyd has slowed and he'll be hit by Cotto's jab just as much as in the first fight. The biggest difference in this fight is Cotto's conditioning which is much improved. It's a close fight either way, and Cotto will win because as I stated it's a bad style matchup.

So what happened with the Canelo fight? Cards don't mean ****, each round was competitive and hard earned. With Floyd slowing down and Cotto getting better, I'm going to go out on a limb and for the first time say Floyd will lose. I've never picked against Floyd, if he fought Manny, I would pick Floyd. But Cotto is a bad style matchup despite what the cards said.

Where are you getting this "Cotto's conditioning improved" stuff from? What are you basing this on?

The fight would go the exact same way as the first, with Floyd possibly getting the KO against a more aggressive Miguel.

Pac, but its not going happen. If I were a betting man, Khan/Alexander winner. Would rather see Khan/Alexander vs Floyd then Cotto again. He beat him already. This "new" Cotto and the almighty Roach on his side are excuses for Cotto fanboys to see him fight Floyd again instead of getting his ass handed to him by Canelo.

Why wouldn't he ask for 60/40 from Floyd when he knows he can get the Lionshare of the purse if he fights Canelo?.. P.R.'s Biggest superstar against Mexico's Biggest superstar on Cinco De Mayo would easily do over a million buys. I'm not even sure he'd do bigger numbers fighting Floyd on that day.

Because 75/25 is still way more than he gets with Canelo, and if he loses to Canelo that fight is dead in the water. Might as well get the max money at this stage in his career.
