    Bradley? Really?

    October 9, 2011:

Afterwards, assuming a Pacquiao victory is attained, many have pointed to the newest member of Top Rank Promotions, Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11 KOs).

He's a speedy, smart, undefeated fighter with youth and ambition, but Roach doesn't seem impressed or feel that Bradley would be worthy.

According to Ring Magazine, Roach said the following about Bradley: "I know that Tim Bradley wouldn't fight Amir Khan. So now, all of a sudden, he's in position to fight Manny Pacquiao because he signed with Bob Arum?"

Regardless, Roach isn't worried about Bradley. He gave predictions on a Bradley fight, saying: "Either way, I really don't care. Tim Bradley ducked one of my guys, Amir Khan, and he would get knocked out by my other guy, Manny Pacquiao."

Manny Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, was once opposed to Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs) facing his other pupil, Amir Khan (26-1, 18 KOs). Now, Roach sees an inevitability to this matchup if Pacquiao keeps demolishing his competition...

    June 10, 2012:

"If Bradley wants it I'm ready, he turned me down twice. After I beat Garcia I will offer Bradley the fight for the third time."

I'm not hyping Khan, i'm just showing that when Freddie had Khan, he said he's a beast. Then when he doesn't have Khan, and Khan is calling out Manny, he says "I don't want Khan, give me Danny Garcia." As far as Khan beating Maidana, just remember:

        December 12, 2010:

Amir Khan, still a world champion but headed for hospital, mumbled through the bruises and cuts that dressed a face rearranged only moments before by Marcos Maidana: "I proved tonight I've got a chin."

What an understatement. The 4,632 fans scattered around an arena that holds twice that number in the bowels of the Mandalay Bay last night were brought to their feet in a frenzy in round 10 as the Argentinian challenger – who came to the fight with an 87% stoppage record – belted Khan from one side of the ring to the other.

He landed blows, unanswered, that would have destroyed any other fighter of comparable size in the world, including Khan's friend and stablemate, Manny Pacquiao.

Amir Khan survived a brutal late onslaught from Marcos Maidana to retain his WBA light-welterweight title

        Just saying!

That is why he left Arum, when he left I thought it was too late by then but I take that back because he has gone from strength to strength in terms of controlling his own career, he is very smart and more power to him, hopefully more boxers would follow his example.

Cotto will prefer this fight over the Canelo fight. He has an unfinished business here.

That is if Haymon/TBE are really serious about it. There's lots of motivation for the Haymon camp to push for this fight. It's a money fight, for one. It will piss off Hoya/HBO/Alvarez, not to mention Arum. But they have to pay Cotto the kind of money he wants.

Interesting thing is Cotto is the one in the driver's seat this time. He shouldn't accept anything less than at least a 60/40 split as well as the gloves and weight of his choice. Cotto has all the leverage in these negotiations with either Floyd or Canelo.
              Lol sure he does!

It is more of a grab for the May date and to stick it to the arrogant ginger kid.
