And if AL doesn't pony up what Cotto wants-Floyd and al will have to force floyd to fight manny.

And if AL doesn't pony up what Cotto wants-Floyd and al have to find a dance partner since Manny is likely fighting Jesse Vargas.
too bad is top rank negotiating for cotto on this fight, so i dont think loeffler is going to bring floyd to the table in this negotiations...

Whatever is happening with the canelo/cotto negotiations-cotto is the key domino. He will fight either canelo or Floyd next. I would lean toward Canelo but you never know.

I'd imagine he will fight whoever makes him the most money.

He probably thinks he has a better shot at beating Floyd aswell.

True. Then that would almost certainly be floyd Floyd-unless ODH concedes and gives him 75/25-which just seems way too one sided. But hey, ODH/GBP/HBO needs to make this fight.

I would prefer Cotto vs Canelo, but I don't have a problem with Cotto vs Mayweather 2.

They'd just fight Andrade. If they can PPV with a Cuban, they can do it with an American champ from the North-East.

No way they're guaranteeing Cotto $15 Mill. If Floyd is guaranteed $32 Mill up front, I can't see their rematch being a purse of close to $50 Mill.

To me, it sounds like desperation on the end of Floyd's not being able to make a big fight without Pacquiao. Cotto's gonna get about $11 Mill guaranteed with Canelo with even split upside on PPV / Gate, top billing.

Would be nice if Haymon makes May-Cotto on Cinco de Mayo, while Golden Boy makes Canelo-Golovkin on the same date.
Which one would be the bigger fight?

Cotto also said he really wants a Floyd rematch. I'm sure the money and chance at beating Floyd again has him telling Top Rank to stay out of it again. This is the only way Floyd fights in May if he doesn't face Manny. Floyd knows there is no one he can fight that will outdraw Cotto/Canelo other than Manny.
