If that was an elite heavyweight the division is dead as it's ever been in history.

Pulev looked like they plucked him from the seats 15 minutes before the fight.

Vlad will NEVER be as widely regarded and respect as Ali,deal with it.

      Ya'll just can't produce greatness.
No but he was soundly outboxed by cruiserbums like Jimmy Young

That PART time golfer would have WITHOUT FAIL 1st or 2nd round KOed Ali every day of the week, Fact! And stopped practically every other pre80's boxer too, undoubtedly.

Sanders was one of the most dangerous early rounds boxers.

        In America no.
        In Britain no.

Worldwide, Vitali and Wlaidmir are ALREADY considered greater.

          And bummy puncher Shaver

          And cruiser green bum Spinks

And glass jawed powder fist Norton

          etc

          etc

          etc

Norton beat him 3-0 and he didn't even start to box until he was 20.

Sanders was boxing since he was a kid and has notable wins over top contender+champs there as well as his pro career.

Pulev's skillset is fairly comparable to Wladimirs. He has a great jab, great timing and accuracy, solid punches, good agility and quick for a 240lber and a hard chin and good range.

These were not all as evident in the fight because he KNEW that everything he had, Wlad had better!

And so he fought the only way he could to try and WIN!, To make it a rough fight.

Had he fought more conservative, he might have survived, but he would have removed any chance to win.

He did what everyone wanted him to, take the fight to Wlad.

He would decimate any pre80's division, knock out Ali and probably get prime Foreman because he would gas late.

Pulev would be HW champ in those eras as long as he liked and nobody would even want to be a HW boxer.

            Wladimir destroyed him.

Regardless, bravo. Looking better than the battle worn corpse of a man with Parkinson's syndrome.

Ali was still the more handsome man.

You just proved pinoys don't know jack about boxing.

I didn't see anything great from Pulev or Vlad.

Pulev would be the lowest of all bums in Ali's era...so would Vlad.

I think one next fight Pulev - Povetkin will decide who is number 2 at the moment. Klitschko is ageing (next march will be 39). Pulev is 33, Povetkin is 35. So I hope we will see soon a fight between Povetkin and Pulev...this will be spectacular!

Eh no, Berbick clearly won. It was close in the beginning, but then Berbick took over and Ali had nothing. Ali was lucky he wasn't in there with a better fighter than Berbick.

Ali should just have retired earlier, nothing hero-like about what he did.

Vladimir outclasses him in every department, including looks. I know this is hard for you, you cannot wash off that tattoo of yours.
