Basic math buddy...you throw less and generally you will connect more, or rather have a better %. I could throw 10 punches and land 5 while my opponent throws 100 and lands 40. So 50% for me and 40% for them - will I say "but I got a higher land % doe"?
Take B-hop v Kovalev as an example - B-hop landed 33 percent - 65 punches of 196, while Kovalev landed "just" 28 percent, by your logic, but 166 punches out of 585 thrown. And everyone can see that's a one sided dominant blow out. So, as a response to some posters who go like punch stats don't matter...well they kinda do, even though this isnt the ams!
Using maths and punch stats to calculate outcomes of a fight.
Soon as LL connects, which wont be hard, its over, also LL throws combs from range and on the inside, he was devastating
Wlad would not have survived the onslaught Vitali took from a older Lewis
This is no diss to Wlad, he is a great boxer, highly skilled, but he'd come unstuck against a guy like LL, stylistically LL is all wrong for Wlad
Its like the student against the Master.
Had Wlad had a chin like Lewis, he would have been the complete fighter as far as inside game
Wlad had to sacrifice a part of his game to be a true champion. When Manny came on aboard, he erased all of Wlads inside game..
I know Wlad fans are going to get angry, but they know the truth deep down inside
I have no issues with Wlad and i am not insulting him, i regard him as the main man in the HW division.
Yea man thats exactly right. Wlad was a KO machine before he got knocked out multiple times and realized he has no chin and no inside game when someone throws back.
Manny had to take wlads strength of reach and power and make it perfect wich is exactly what he did. He made wlad unreachable so he never has to fight inside again and thats what made him what he is today....truly shows what great a trainer manny was
Although increasingly one might lean toward Wladimir.
Lennox struggled with far lesser opponents than Wladimir. But then again Wladimir never fought one as dangerous as Lennox either!
No bets here! Both have much harder chins than given credit for, especially Wlad.
But both could give better than they could take so all I can say with some authority is that it probably wont go the distance. Then again, there could be a whole lotta hugging too LOL
Lennox ducked both Klitschko brothers and retired his own ass into security. Age like fine wine, my ass. One of the worst ducks in history.
Lewis already destroyed Vitali in 6 rounds and he'd beat Wladimir within 6 rounds. In other words Lewis beats both brothers within 12 rounds. Lewis is just all round superior in every department to both brothers combined.

Lewis got lucky vs Vitali, both Larry Merchant and George Foreman said the same ring side.

It would likely be a horrible fight, until Lewis could break Wladimir's guard. I think he negates some of Wlad's defensive work with some sharp body punches and uppercuts.
It's really difficult to speculate. Lewis is a top fighter; Pulev, unfortunately, is not. They're nothing alike.

In fantasy land (klitschko land) this is true.
On planet earth what actually happened was Vitali was offered the fight twice, TWICE! But it couldn't be made because of European TV rights. Then as Johnson pulled out, a deal was quickly hatched together to finally make it happen.
Wladimir was also in line to get his shot, but ended up getting folded by one of Lewis' sparring partners, so that obviously couldn't take place.
Weltschmuck would know this if he followed boxing then, which of course, he didn't. So there.
