Since you believe he is ducking Manuel Charr, I take any of your assessments with a pinch of salt.

      My top 5 list:

      1) Wladmir Klitschko
      2) Lennox Lewis
      3) Evander Holyfield
      4) Vitali Klitschko
      5) Mike Tyson

I dont have any of the ancient HW's on my list because those guys werent really world champions. They never fought USSR fighters

Wladimir is one of the best heavyweights ever, one more win against a top 10 opponent and I have him in the all-time top 5 heavyweights.

If Wlad beats Stiverene, Wilder, Fury, and maybe a few other top contenders than I'll have him Top 10.

Right now he's about #12. There or there about.

A cunning fighter who in 12 years as a pro had never been dished a non-controversial loss and was in line to challenge the champ. Yet VK managed to beat his brains out.:
The same Kirk Johnson that needed two tries to get a win over former cruiserweight champion Al Cole who lost to just about every decent heavyweight he fought?

The same Kirk Johnson who lost to John Ruiz, who in his very next fight lost Roy Jones Jr.?

              Hmm.

LOL @ the bold. Can't wait till the day I see first-ballot hall of famers like Ibragimov, Pulev, and Chirsora get honored in Canastota and be rightfully placed alongside their peers in Robinson, Foreman, Pep, and Armstrong.
It's so funny how people **** on past greats as small when so many cruiserweights move up and beat the "bigger, better" fighters they hype up. Povetkin arguably got a gift against a cruiserweight champ, but bigger, greater, better fighters don't have a chance because they're too small. Roy Jones wasn't even 200 and beat one of the most consistent contenders of this crappy era with ease. Haye was a cruiserweight. Byrd was pretty much a cruiserweight. Chambers would be one in shape. Adamek was a career LHW and cruiserweight who beat Arreola almost right away. James Toney was a fat cruiserweight and an obese HW, he beat Peter's ass.

But these guys are too big for great heavyweights who were bigger than the small guys beating the crappy heavies today.

he was considered by many to be #2. I personally always thought povetkin and stiverne were better but he is top 5 imo. wlad has a habit of making good boxers look like stiffs in there

Yes, Pulev is a very good heavyweight, but Wladimir made him look like a pushover.

That shows how good Wlad really is, although some will never give him credit.
