He's getting close to Joe Louis' record.

If he beats that, even the harshest critics will have to rank him highly.

You can say what you want but the truth is, the Klit bro's are 0-1 combined against hall of famers. Not top 10 material, sorry.
Are you a little bit slow there mate?

            I think you missed it.

In previous eras, where there were many ATG's, it was because there was nobody who was really that great. They were all about the same level.

In an era where there were many ATG's, NONE of them were really THAT great at all.

Because if they WERE, then they would not have ALLOWED any other boxers to shine brightly enough to BECOME ATG's.

THIS^ Is central to blowing out of the water one of the very first myths I ever busted more than half a decade ago now!

Your so far behind the 8 ball it isn't funny!

Many of Wladimir's opponents could have become all time greats were they fortunate enough not to have arrived in the Klitschko era, and many likely will end up in the HOF anyway! Obviously!

The HOF and ATG is basically where RETIRED boxers are honoured years later, and that's about it!

You're the same guy who constantly craps on real ATGs like Ali and Fraizer yet you praise guys like the Klit bros and their pathetic opposition, pardon me if I don't take anything you say serious.

LOL @ the bold. Can't wait till the day I see first-ballot hall of famers like Ibragimov, Pulev, and Chirsora get honored in Canastota and be rightfully placed alongside their peers in Robinson, Foreman, Pep, and Armstrong.

So what, you think that HOF and ATG are just going to come to an end now because there are none of your favourites left? How naïve!

I don't actually crap on any boxers, I simply make objective comparisons.

And objectively speaking, many of either Klitschko's opponents would have rolled straight over all your favourites as if they were nothing.

And as for the Klits themselves, nobody would want to see them KO such bad opponents.

So called bums of the Klitschko era are without a shadow of a doubt better than top boxers of the eras that you support. That is a fact.

For instance, Kirk Johnson. 270lbs, chubby like I know you hate, but still very fast and even good on his feet too, and big power. What "little" "scrappy" boxers from your time could REALLY beat this guy? Probably nobody. A cunning fighter who in 12 years as a pro had never been dished a non-controversial loss and was in line to challenge the champ. Yet VK managed to beat his brains out.

You'll never get in until you turn the colour on the TV set down to black and white first

I'm torn. Part of me sees him as a Top 10 HW, but another thinks, at this stage, it's more appropriate to place him in the Top 15

Foreman-Lyle, go watch that and tell me Klitschko wins that fight being either guy. **** no. Dudes chin would folded ten fold like a 3-man tent!!!
Vladimir's chin is underrated. He was never knocked out cold, Sanders was a monster puncher and Vlad clearly underestimated him, foolishly.

To say Vlad never faced big punchers is ludicrous. Sam Peter, Haye both connected him. Did he fold? He got up three times and decisioned Peter decisively, and Peter was a very dangerous fighter at the time. Pulev connected with him, and as New England pointed out Pulev is a big guy who trained very well. Vlad got staggered by a jab, for instance, and took many punches to the back of his head during clinches.

Foreman might KO Vlad, but Vlad sure as hell might KO Foreman. This is fantasy fight stuff, and just because you dislike Vlad it doesn't mean he couldn't beat those guys in the 70s. I think he beats all of them.
