Pulev is garbage; the HW div. is trash.

It's just a coincidence then that it's US fans who constantly complain about the HW division. Or maybe you're Ukrainian, Russian?

I'm not a Wlad fan either but the guy just fought the undefeated #1 contender in an entertaining fight and knocked him out. Credit where it's due.

Because the drugs are always ahead of the testing. If you knew anything about steroids you'd know that.

        Burrows your a joke mate.

Are you one of Ray's fighters he's forced to carry the spit bucket whom he has decreed to come on here and back his ass up?

The current HW division is among the strongest it has ever been, the opponents have cleaner records against better and bigger opponents. Wlad dominates guys who would dominate your golden era.

That is just a fact, I'm sorry you are bitter about it.

The 90's HW's were comparable, that was a great era too.

You supported Moorer vs guys like Stiverne and Povetkin etc. These guys would knock him flat, simple as that!

So why are fighters always getting caught? (question is rhetorical)

There are only 5 encompassing reasons why this era would be dissed.

1/ Nationalism (your American, occasionally British, the best boxers in the world are European)
2/ Racism (your black, the champion and many top contenders are white)
3/ Financial profit (you make money from promoting such rubbishz, like Bert Sugar)
4/ Social profit (you play up to your peers of like mindedness and win friends like LacedUp
5/ Nostalgia (you are a citizen over 50 and geriatrically think your generation was the best and cannot see the obvious talent now and progress, like Ray Corso)

Every detraction is a combination thereof.

Pulev fought one of the most unskilled fights I have ever seen. He looked like Edward Rackley in there. If that's your thing...have at it.

You're a ****ing disgrace of a boxing fan if you think those could be the only possible reasons.

Not all fighters get caught. Nor athletes in general. And when a lot of them do get caught, it isn't because of any one test. It's usually a paper trail of some sorts.

Vlad looked good last night, his clinching wasn't excessive and Pulev clinched equally when you look at the fight. They have similar styles to an extent and for this reason ended up in clinches quite often, which was swiftly broken up by the ref.

Looks like Johnathon Banks is doing good work, Vlad looked mobile, light on his feet, quick, threw a better variety of combinations than we usually see. I personally believe that was one of his better performances in years and he doesn't look one bit slowed down in any department.

He makes quality opponents look lesser because he is so superior. Pulev is the 2nd best HW in the world and he came to fight.

                      Good fight.
