we are discussing how hot is the welterweight division. i had stated that maidana is the hottest welterweight besides floyd and pac when he has beaten broner.
and when maidana is a 12:1 underdog it seems that people think that the present welterweights are not that dangerous for either floyd or manny.
and if maidana is a 12:1 underdog againts floyd- just imagine if floyd is againts peterson and matthysse (the two fighter the person i replied to mentioned)

He belongs at 140, especially now that he's older. I'm more interested in seeing him fight guys like Broner and D.Garcia than Mayweather anyways. That said, probably have to settle for him fighting Crawford and M.Garcia...

IMO both him and Floyd belong at 140, if you compare their "supposed" street weights to most other fighters

espinoza offered arum 40m+ 35 upside. that is maybe 65/35. that is 3 months ago. i think 58/42 is fair. its getting nearer.

garcia prefer manny rather than floyd. arum can offer the bigger paycheck. and besides garcia want an opponent that engages him in a fight- that he could somehow catch with his hook. garcia also knows that manny can be knockout.

Show me where you read Arum can offer Garcia more money.
