Garcia is going to 147 next year. Peterson was the only fight he was waiting for at 140 but Peterson is also moving up to 147. Lucas also said he is because he. Couldn't get a rematch with Danny.

I garauntee Manny is not fighting any of those guys. He will fight Jesse Vargas or Terrence Crawford. I would not be surprised if it was Mike Alvarado.

Floyd fans can't talk until their hero gets serious about fighting Manny or some other relatively risky opponent. Floyd was cherry picking either Khan or Maidana. That cherry pick was done right out in the open!!!

Last year Manny called out the top WWs: Floyd, Marquez and Bradley. They all said no.
This year one said yes and guess what? They fought. The other 2 are still in hiding!

And if you remember after the Rios fight Bob was saying they were lookin at Canelo, d.garcia, as possible foes and they werent interested in mayweather at that particular moment, right before he went on to announce pac-bradley2. espinoza offered arum 40m+ 35 upside. that is maybe 65/35. that is 3 months ago. i think 58/42 is fair. its getting nearer.

garcia prefer manny rather than floyd. arum can offer the bigger paycheck. and besides garcia want an opponent that engages him in a fight- that he could somehow catch with his hook. garcia also knows that manny can be knockout.

Bob Arum is sucking the life out of Pacquiao and his career. Arum should have called it quits years ago and let the younger men handle the company while he chilled out in Florida with his Bermuda shorts. In my opinion I feel that Bob has kept Manny from fighting Mayweather all along. Bob owns Manny and until he croaks. We won't see any good and intriguing fights with Manny Pacquiao. Moving down to 140 while 47 is stacked AND Top Rank/Golden Boy fued has died down. Bob still has no plans to pair his guys up against Golden Boy fighters. Oscar went all out for nothing and you will see for yourselves.

What has the odds against Mayweather got to do with Pacquiao? Maidana wouldn't be a 12-1 underdog against Pacquiao.

lightweight 3 fights before the cotto fight
light welter 1 fight before the cotto fight.

cotto weight in 146 againts clottey 1 fight before the pac fight
cotto weight in 145 againts pac

prior to pac-cotto fight:
pacquiao is his last 4 fight fought from 130-147
cotto in his last 4 fight fought at 145-147

and you cannot forgive pacquiao for a mere 2 lbs.
if you are bias, you wont have the proper perspective.

Pac fought de la hoya before Cotto. Once again it was well known that Cotto was struggling to make 147 before the Pac fight was even being discussed as a possibility. Freddy Roach and Pac are both on record saying the catch wait was the key to victory, Pac also refused to fight Cotto again at the full weight of 154 stating that Cotto was to big at 154 but had no problem asking for a catch weight of 150. Cotto was also pretty much training himself. All that being said I give Pac major props for the victory because till this day Cotto is still the most dangerous opponent that Pac has ever faced. But the reality is that weight was an issue it's a fact there's no getting around it, as I said before these things are part of Pacs legacy whether you like it or not.
