Correction...Pac retired Margarito and Margarito was on his way to waxing Cotto's culito again before the New York 'let's-protect-Cotto-so-PRs-can-leave-happy-and-not-riot-while-blasting-that-****ty--negreton&bachata-noise' commission dr stopped the fight....that's right, the same Pac that bent Cotto over and basically manhandled him.....

And FYI - Martinez's knee retired him...nothing to do with Chavez hitting Sergio's fist with his face for 11+ rounds.....

And Cotto vs Canelo is an intriguing match-up...I would much rather pay for that than anymore Mayweather or Pac bs ppvs......

Boxing is not something you should be 50-50 on.

Someone should really tell Hopkins and Martinez to just hang up the gloves before they're unable to put a sentence together. I would literally bet my life that Hopkins last fight scrambled his brains, the 12th round alone.

So the results of those tests are that he may need additional surgery on that knee? And these Cotto fans still want to say his knee wasn't an issue? Lol......

Chavez def got the last laugh with that 12th round destroying Sergios knees, Shame.

Retire Maravilla, you had a great tail end to your career and were considered one of the pound for pound best fighters when you were healthy. Arguably a HOF'er.

I love Martinez but this proves that if Chavez would have trained properly for his fight vs Martinez, I guarantee the result would have been different. Chavez hurt him badly in just one round were he stepped on the gas and if you watch the last round, Martinez was exhausted in the last ten seconds, could not move. If it had been one round earlier, he would get Koed.Hope a rematch gets done.

Margarito retired himself due to machismo and Paquiao´s power. His fight vs Cotto was becoming like the first fight but the injury messed it up. He made Cotto his puta in the first fight and had him running and hugging in the rematch in Cotto´s backyard.

It was because of the punches and the fight. Moved too much from side to side to avoid Chavez, was hit a few times but hard so had to retain his balance which damages the knee, and the knockdown was brutal, je injured his knee in the first knockdown and more in the second which was ruled a push.

As expected, his knee requires more surgery.

He has been done since round 12 of Chavez, that was his last stand as s great fighter. He struggles to stay upright when he leans, he's not medically cleared to spar, his knees have destroyed his power, movement and balance (which also ruined his punch resistance)....there is nothing left.
