GGG is a very special, "offensive Fighter"
We have seen big punchers in recent years ie peter, Tua, Pavlik, miranda, lucas, maidana, etc... But none ever strung together a bunch of fights with dominate ko wins like GGG has... In my lifetime, only tito and tyson are comparable

Kovalev is pretty comparable imo. I rather suspect Beterbiev's run will be too unless of course they run into each other.

GGG will get his shot. when you have a network backing you, eventually someone with a name will be forced to fight him.

What about Mosley at Lightweight, Oscar 140 and under, Valero, the list goes on I've guys who were knocking everyone out.

Been busy and alittle burnt out on NSB

Kovolev-hopkins went exactly how i thought it would... Hopkins outgunned and not taking enough risks to win rounds...
Kovolev is a true world caliber fighter and on another level than tavoris cloud, and those other guys that hopkins was beating for belts...

Sad to see hopkins get beat like that, but its what i expected... Still think hopkins could beat stevenson

Golovkin is a diffrent kind of puncher than those guys, even his ****ing jab hurts. And I still think we haven't seen his power on full display

Offensively...GGG is FLAWLESS actually, his Boxing Skills to go with his POWER is what makes him impressive to ME.

Defense and Inside Fighting is questionable but that is mostly because it hasn't been tested much, most fighters are a bit careless Defensively against guys they're SUPPOSE TO BEAT so I don't put too much into his Defensive Flaws against Lower Competition

Oscar is a good call... Yes he is another great "offensive fighter." Oscar pre-welter was a monster.... Yes i would put him in there, though he didnt possess the same firepwer when he filled out and fought at a weight where he didnt have a huge size advantage.. Oscar much like donaire, feasted on smaller guys but once matched up with guys their own size ie welter, feather,, You saw some of their firepower diminish... GGG is fighting guys his own size, and is destroying them... Much like tito and tyson

Valero never knocked out a string of top contenders like GGG has done.. beating Rosado, stevens, macklin, geale, Rubio, and beating them all in brutal fashion is very impressive..

Shane has got some nice power, but not on the same level as GGG.. Shane was huge at lightweight and struggled putting away holiday.. Holiday-caliber fighter woulnt last 5 rounds with GGG
Shane may be a better overall fighter than GGG, but in terms of Offensive Firepower, i dont think he is as good as GGG
