Yes Kovolev is close to GGG,,, they are very similar, though i think GGG has proven it vs a little higher caliber.. rosado, macklin, geale, rubio >>>>Cleverly, Sillkyha, Agnew... Hopkins is obviously the biggest win, but kovolev didnt stop him,

Kovalev also didn't look to try too hard to stop Hopkins besides the 1st and the 12th. IMO he clearly could have if he wanted to, he was hurting him plenty.

It's close, though. Both are frightening punchers whose power changes fights the first time they land. The way they dispatch durable guys so quickly is unbelievable.

It wasn't for a lack of power that he didn't get the KO but it would've been a risk to try to KO Hopkins, he was dangerous almost to the last and I don't feel Kovalev has the best chin, that's one thing 3G does have on him imo.

I agree. Golovkin seems to eat whatever lands, Kovalev has shown some vulnerability.

I still think Hopkins had nothing to offer by the 8th or so and Kovalev could have pressed for the stoppage, but he seemed to want to prove a point. Until Hopkins stuck his tongue out, that is.

This. I'm still not sold on Kovalev's chin

Put them nuts down son..they make you thirsty.

Stop acting like GGG is Julian Jackson or somebody.

He's not putting guys to sleep...he's just crushing tomato cans that he KNOWS can't hurt him.

Kelly Pavlik's drunk as.s can come out of rehab today and clean out GGG's resume.

Pavlik didn't let scrubs like Adama touch him.

Adama's slow ass busted-up 3G's nose with lead right hands.
That is not a good sign guys.

Karmazin bounced Ouma off the canvas like he was made of styrofoam....Golovkin couldn't get him off his feet.

Who is the best fighter GGG laid out...if the answer is a smaller guy that can't punch, compare that guy to Pavlik's.

              Pavlik > GGG

              All day long.

Pavlik was taking titles by brutal KO.
GGG is squatting on them by TKO.

It's different when you KO guys that can punch too.
If Adama were a puncher he would have had Golovkin in trouble.

GGG is eating punches from guys that shouldn't be touching him.

Yep,you can see that hype-train crash coming from space.

He's an offensive fighter. Offensive fighters get punched. You don't think Chavez Sr. ate some shots by lessor skilled guys? Of course he did. So the expectation of ggg now is to KO everyone and not get punched? lol

Why'd you start a new account to hate on GGG? That's really pathetic, man up and do it on your real account.
