It really is, Ali became bigger than boxing and the proof of that is those dubious decisions.
    I second Cyclone's post.

I seen all of those Ali fights, he also was never in the Lyle fight at all the whole time until the very end where he was gifted a weak stoppage, far less than Ali was hurt in his own fights that were allowed to continue. Lyle should have won that fight too.

Basically, Ali lost 10+ fights all up and received gift assistance in about 5 more and was treated luxuriously in about 5 others. He never convincingly beat Liston at all, a boxer who is the epitome of a bum fighter making Deontay Wilder's opposition look stellar, and Foreman punched himself out because he was dumb, he would have killed Ali in rematch. Ali even lost to a total bum in Earnie Shavers.

I watched that guy get smashed from pillar to post in nearly all of his fights by cruisers, bums and featherfists who could barely even box. The fact that Frazier and Ali struggled to beat each other is for me testament to just how bad these 2 boxers actually were.

And also testament to how revolutionary Tyson was, a mere 10 years later by comparison!

Frazier is only famous because of Ali who is only famous through gifts and hyping. Take this away and they are no different than any other bum Tyson flogged out.

Frazier vs Tyson = Marvis vs Tyson

Ali vs Tyson = Ratliff vs Tyson

Some commentary from the Ratliff fight:

"I wonder if Ratliff is gonna be on a 10 speed or a 12 speed this round"

"By backing up, all he's doing is giving Tyson momentum, and when you give Mike Tyson momentum, you've got some problems"

"The brand on his shorts read Spartan and I'd say that's an apt description of his performance"

"Ratliff isn't boxing at all, he's just trying to survive Larry"

"AAAAnd Ratliff continues, on the bike"

"I think that, Ratliff, really wants to fight Greg LeManz because he's on his bike!"

Sounds like typical comments regarding Clay/Ali of you ask me!!

          Yeah, obviously!

          Let's keep it simple..

I've given you Tyson fight examples.

If you disagree, then tell me..

Where is the performance of Joe Frazier, or Muhammad Ali/Cassius Clay that lends any credence that either could beat or even survive against Tyson??

To which fight(s) of theirs can you point to and give examples where they could undo Tyson?

From my analytical skills and my observations, I KNOW they don't exist, but hey, I am human, maybe I missed something?!

          Show me!

You wont, because you know wherever you point can be picked apart.

Pathetic really that anyone would come to a forum in a thread about Frazier and Tyson, and discredit Ali who was not only a great champion, but also a great human being and who did more for boxing than anyone else ever did.

You really need to get it together. This post is bad even for your very low standards.

Muhammad Ali was one of the most disgraceful figures in the sport of boxing what the hell are you tripping on!

The guy actually changed his name from Cassius Clay (named after a peaceful and respectful early American) to Muhammad Ali (named after a tyraniccal slaver, murderer and abuser of women).

He has been retrospectively diagnosed as a psychopath. He was a racist extremist, woman beater and oppressor and extremely rude person with a superiority complex. And he treated beaten fighters and opponents like crap

THAT'S what you choose to support! By comparison, Mike was a really great guy in every way!

                Epic fail that post!

You're literally too ****** to discuss with.

I don't know why you have such an inferiority complex with Ali, but it's too much.

Also, what you're saying is not only a lie, but extremely pathetic that you would say something like that.

Mike Tyson is a glorified street fighter hype job who was fed a steady diet of shopping cart pushers in his career. Every time he faced someone real he got knocked the f*** out. Frazier knocks his ass out. If Holyfield could do it, I'm sure Joe could too.

I think Mike Tyson would win. He is simply a superior boxer.
