Maybe 5th. But he never really faced anyone notable except for lewis and holyfield. and he got his ass kicked lol.....now when ali was past his prime he still fought and won against guys like frazier and foreman.....only one with worse opposition than tyson is klitschko....

Maybe tyson would win against frazier maybe i give it 50/50...but he doesnt stand a chance against ali when ali was from age 20-35,.....no chance at all

I never seen the "prime" Ali once ever beat a decent opponent. I give that Ali 30 seconds to survive as well. Far too weak to even fight Tyson and he couldn't run from Tyson either.

The stronger 70's Ali that fought Frazier and Foreman (the one I call "prime") who was stronger and experienced enough could maybe hold on for grim death and survive for a time like Smith, Green and Tillis.

Except that Ali was a defenceless punch bag too so I can't really see him surviving either.

Frazier and Ali vs Tyson is simply nostalgic tripe. He'd fold them in an instant.

There's just nothing they can offer to compete.

Ali was still green at 20 and past it for a prime Tyson, I think Ali 23-27 whoops Tyson, schools him in fact, maybe makes him quit late. Ali on the comeback manages to beat Tyson in a war.

Would smelling salts and illegal tactics such as tearing gloves to buy time be allowed during the corner breaks?
Because once Tyson knocks Ali into a daze he will sure as hell need all those lame tactics to stand the faintest chance of pulling off this upset.

Lmao even tyson has said he loses to Ali lmao and you are defending him. ok i give you tyson beating frazier, but ali bro? have some common sense and respect lmao.

Ill show you who ali has faced that are better opponents than tysons.

            Earnie Shavers
            Sonny Liston
            Joe Frazier
            Undeafeated Foreman
Floyd Patterson- also trained by cus
            Kenny Norton
            Goerge Chuvalo

^ all of those guys are miles ahead of tysons so called "competition".

Lol ali had the greatest chiin in history so if tyson was able to get past the quikest feet and quickest jab in history and hit him. ALi woulnt fall, and if he did he would just get back up. Ali had more speed also in his prime. he would bounce around and slap tyson while tyson desperately tries to make and advance and gets countered when he throws those so called "monster uppercuts" .

Where where tysons uppecuts and hookes against lewis. he coulnt even reach lewis and lewis is a slower flat footed version of ali. Lewis even beat prime tyson in sparring before they where pros. Ali would dominate tyson the same way he did everyone else in his prime.

Even tyson has said he doesnt stand a chance against someone like ali . The difference with tyson and fighters like ali and frazier is that ali was the golden era
I agree with a lot of what you say here, but Tyson's competition wasn't nearly the worst in heavyweight history. It was certainly better than Floyd Patterson's, just for openers. Tyson's competition is definitely overrated by his biggest fans, but overall it wasn't bad.

                AAAAHahahahahahahahaha

Yeah, right, sure. Joe is just gonna roll right up close to Tyson, bob his head down and start winging those slowkin weak ass hooks into the thick slabs of body muscle on Mike whilst he stands there making no attempt to fight back until he's worn down.

                Likely story mate!
Frazier stopped Chuvalo who was only stopped by 2 men. That definitely says something about his punching power so they definitely weren't "weak ass hooks"

                  Shavers: Tyson KO1
                  Liston: Tyson KO3
                  Frazier: Tyson KO1
                  Foreman: Tyson KO6
                  Patterson: Tyson KO1
                  Norton: Tyson KO1
                  Chuvalo: Tyson KO1-3

                  That's what I think.

Most of those opponents wouldn't stretch Tyson any further than the bum opponents that Tyson did fight.

Ali's resume is realistically pretty poor by modern standards.

I would like to think Foreman could lose a UD to Mike, he might, but when you review the Lyle fight, it's pretty doubtful!

lol maybe you want to look up more boxing history, smelling salts were legal back then, I think I read they were illegal in Britain at the time but I'm not so sure but countless fighters and trainers throughout history, some of the best ever, have used clever little tactics in fights. Can't remember if smelling salts were used in the Cooper fight but this whole "controversy" surrounding the gloves is nonsensical, Cooper and his son both say that no more than 5 seconds were wasted/given extra between rounds, new gloves were brought over pretty damn quickly and put on.

So whats the controversy here? Gloves were ripped, Dundee just exaggerated the rip a bit. They would have needed changing anyway. Fact si, before the KD Ali was whooping Cooper, got KD, got back up before the bell rang, in fact in like 3 seconds, and came back out to whoop Cooper. If in any doubt, he did it again in a rematch, in Cooper's back yard yet again lol

Ali pummeled Liston, Frazier, Foreman and beat Shavers, Norton and co without much if any controversy...so what has Cooper got over those guys? Not a damn thing boy.
