That fight would likely be hard to watch, similar to Holmes-Ali.

as for who those guys are - Froch currently holds the IBF and WBA Super MW titles, Abraham with the WBO and Dirrell with the WBC

while Golovkin vs Hopkins has been talked about in past, I don't see anything to gain by it from Golovkin's end of it. Outside of a violent KO, what does Golovkin gain from a fight vs Hopkins? I don't see much

if the Chavez Jr-Froch talks die again, I say Hopkins vs Froch, and NO don't have it at 170, have it at Super Middle for Froch's 2 belts, provided the IBF doesn't strip Froch first.
Maybe a huge payday if nothing else.

Why the hell would anyone fight Hopkins right now? He has no belts, is 50 years old and just got dominated in his last fight. It wouldn't even be a great payday. It's a no win situation.

Unless you're a young kid who needs to make a name for himself. Maybe Anthony Dirrell or something.

i doubt he can even make 168.... I remember he had trouble making weight against Pascal 1 I think

BHOP moves down to 168 and takes Froch to school in his final bout.

                It's gonna be Froch.

Froch - Calzaghe never happened, but this fight gives Froch the chance to beat Hopkins more convincingly than Joe did.

Froch isn't fighting Hopkins. Completely pointless fight from Froch's point of view. I can obviously see why Hopkins would want that.

Ward, like the true champion that he is stepped up to the plate and all of a sudden loud mouth Abel had no voice! So get your facts right before you come here insulting a pound 4 pound king like Ward.

Ward would put on a boxing clinic against Golovkin and Abel knows this, this is why he backed down from Andre's challenge. There is nothing special about GGG other than his power. He is one dimensional, flat footed, slow and very basic. Once he actually fights someone with a pulse who is not a part-time cab driver he easily gets exposed and all you ban wagon fans will suddenly be scrambling for some other hype job's ban wagon to jump on
Maybe they can jump onto the Kovalev bandwagon, wait? Never mind!

No answer from team Ward, other than Hunter saying Ward didnt send any letters to HBO, and he should have a couple of tuneups before facing GGG. So that a$$ in your avatar probably knows more about boxing than you
