I don't know that this was controversial, but it was sure sloppy and a little anticlimactic.

That's probably a better way of describing it. I guess I was just enjoying the fight too much for it to be stopped like that. Pascal lasted an onslaught earlier, maybe he could've done it again. I think the ref should've given him a count because didn't he touch the canvas?

Great timing... I was streaming this on my PC and watching the re-run of GGG-Murray on HBO Canada and both fights ended at exactly the same time!

The ref made the right decision to stop it. I don't think Pascal even knew where he was after the fight was stopped. If it had not been stopped, Pascal could have ended up being carried out of the ring. It would have been sick.

Yeh that was a BS stoppage, ****sexual Luis Pabon seriously. Im a Kovalev fan but I hate ***** stoppages. Its a fight. Let Kovalev lay him unconcious unable to move then you can stop it. But the guy was still up... Pabon robbed us of a sick ending.
