After watching hq gifs I can say Pascal was trying to repeat Simakov's fate. Ref saved his health or even his life.

You better not to mix up capability to fight further and being still alive.

Kovalev dominated the fight, he won every round and destroyed Pascal.

Kovalev dominated clearly, but I would have given Pascal 2 (maybe 3, I'd have to re-watch) of those rounds, and Pascal had moments where he was effective and hurting / bothering Kovalev. It was a real fight.

Kovalev is an absolute beast. He showed he can take a good shot too. I can't see Stevenson lasting long at all if he gets hit as regular as Pascal did.

Not that I think Stevenson would win at this point, but Kovalev shouldn't want anything to do with Stevenson's big shot. Don't kid yourself about that.

Pascal did pretty good....Which I expected since he has never been blown out before in any fight....People thinking Kovalev was just gonna come in and destroy him with ease were just nut-hugging...Pascal is a top level fighter.
