It's a shame Froch is going to do to Degale what Calzaghe did to Froch.. Having said that, the difference is that Froch fought nearly all of the top guys in the division, just a shame he doesn't want to face Degale. I think the people around him are trying to prevent him fighting Degale by saying no one cares about the fight because they know Degale might win that fight.

Still, can't hate on Froch, he has had a great career.

So why does it have to be J.C. Jnr? If step aside money can be offered to WBC #1 mandatory George Groves then why not Anthony Dirrell in Vegas?

Really hope we get to see him one last time. If that ends up being vs Chavez Jr it would be a great exit from the sport.

A great champion! Hope he gets Chavez, but he has nothing to left to prove - especially with Ward not fighting.

Also, hope this thread will be free of 'he's retiring to avoid GGG and Kovalev' comments.

                Not PPV.

Chavez Jr, whether you like it or not, has a large following; thus demand for PPV. Dirrell is insignificant.

Pity he is set on Vegas. A Golovkin fight would fill out Wembley once again. Of course, Chavez is a Christmas gift compared to Golovkin. Well, he's paid his dues, fought everybody and if he wants to hang'em up, that's his call.
