He got the same hate last week. You know why tunney started this thread-it surely wasn't to praise Bhop.

One of his beloved euro fighters finally beat 50 year old Hopkins so he has to hype up the win.

Oddly enough, whilst I am going with Hopkins here, I liked how when Pacquiao was added to the poll in the past posters would disrespect Hopkins' career. People here only pretend to have followed B-Hop's career, while I have. It's debatable really, no right or wrong answer but emotional people shouldn't be allowed to vote and we have too many of those here.

Also, willingness isn't a criteria in who is greater. Now that Hopkins took on Kovalev we're gonna make believe Mayweather's level of opposition as of recently wasn't far greater? See how that works?

Hopkins said, with himself included. I mean that's ridiculous but that tells you even he acknowledges it's close.

i am telling all of you floyd fans right now. if Floyd losses that 0, his legacy would sink faster than the titanic coz floyd only banks his legacy on that "0". that "0" does not have enough substance to put him in the likes of Bhop or Pac

It's a wash. They should be within 5 spots of each other no matter who you prefer.

Hopkins has more L's but he took more risks. Floyd never fought a prime Roy Jones and if he did he would have an L too.

                  He's not the first.

Rocky Marciano and Joe Calzaghes career are both tied to being undefeated, actually the only reason they are ever mentioned it because they were undefeated, as in this case.

Nothing special stands out about both careers, also nothing special stands out about Pac career either, he's a normal HOF.

B Hop has a ATG career.

What Hopkins did on Sat would be the equivalent of Floyd fighting a prime GGG at 49yrs old. Although both were LHW's, Kovalev was the much bigger man in that ring!

Then why did he finish above them in the Ring magazine vote?
