Well done BH for never being stopped. If he chased a ko against Kovalev like Pac did against JMM who knows though.

But i wonder did Kovalev really try his best to stop BH. Because subconsciously when you are so far ahead and you are fighting a old boxer, you take it easy on them, similar to ALi vs Berbick and Holmes.

Kovalev was probably fighting his hero.

Not to mention this is a guy who already has the death of 1 fighter on his conscience. That has to weigh heavily on him. If I was Kovalev, I would be trying NOT to do serious damage on someone like Hopkins, but that tongue really did piss him off!

Well since kovalev killed a guy before, one would think it crept into his conscience this time around.....i also slighty think (i may be alone in this) that a few of those hopkins shots stunned him and that may also play into him picking his shots.....his chin seemed a bit suspect to me
