Pretty amazing stat about Hopkins if he retires

That in over 25 years as a pro fighter he was never stopped. I'd imagine throughout history that is a tiny, elite group of people who could say that when it was all said and done.

That's kind of a big deal if you really think about it out of all the random things that can go wrong on any given fight.

He has by far the best chin of any fighter of the past 10 odd, maybe 15 years. Those shots he took from Kovalev were plain sadistic, they kind which would have knocked out anyone else. He's one of the best fighters I've ever seen.

1-out of respect he did not stop the fight in the 12th..he would have been justified
2-him not stopping that fight almost got Hopkins seriously hurt

but respect to a living legend, even at 49 he still has nice defense and takes 1 hell of a shot
