After beating Hopkins, How do you feel about Kovalev vs Andre Ward?

I don't think it would be an easy fight for Kovalev but I'd like to see ward at 175 before we make predictions.

I think you need to be able to get Kovalev's attention with some power to keep him off you. I don't think Ward can do that. I think Stevenson has a chance to counter him and make him hesitate offensively.

Guys, ward doesn't throw enough punches to win rounds. No one would get knocked out as ward would be defensive minded. It would be similar to the bhop fight but ward would win a few rounds. Bhop and ward are not punch happy guys, one major flaw in their great game.

Well nothing changes for me, I still have Ward by Decision but it won't be easy by any stretch for either fighter.

The B-Hop win was good for Kovalev, but beating B-Hop doesn't mean that somehow because he beat B-Hop he can do the exact same thing to Ward. At this point in their careers...Ward and B-Hop are nothing alike to be honest.

What?? LOL yes they are. Very economical with their punches, take very minimal risks, great defense, uses a lot of clinches to smother opponents etc... I think Bhop has more power but ward is obviously fresher and will be more energetic but yeah they do have some similarities.

Of course he won't he is younger. But once he feels krusher's power he will be a little more economical than his usual self too.

But I'm just saying Ward and Bhop have a lot of similarities.

I'd love to see it be interesting if Ward's inside work, if he could even get inside, would work against a bigger stronger man. My hunch is if you don't have the power to stop kovalev in his tracks you're in trouble.

No. I would still lean towards Ward but Kovalev was definitely impressive Sat night.
