This keeps taking on more and more of a feel of one of those sad fights that when we all look back on it we will wish Bernard had people around him who cared about him. Hopkins even has the look of a guy on his way to the gallows. Not some bs "shook" look, but one of resignation. Bernard hasn't stopped anyone in a decade and his low activity rate coupled with his fifty year old body will cause him to wilt early here. High praise to the man for taking this fight either way when he has nothing left to prove.

This fight doesn't take anything away from B-Hops career, he still has made a significant mark in the sport. However, it is time for the younger warriors to take over and as is the case, they have to take over at the expense of the previous generation.
Kovalev will win this fight shockingly and usher in a new LHW era.
