Cotto has fought in Vegas 11 times compared to 0 times for Canelo in NYC. Saying Cotto won't get a fair shake in Vegas is a bit of a stretch.

This isn't prime Cotto anymore with monetary upside - that's all I'm saying. I think all fighters, who'll fight Canelo just have to think about external issues. It is what it is. When it comes to money - I think everyone is suspect. Maybe I'm just an eternal cynic

I doubt they will fight in Vegas cause for starter if they fight on the mayweather date is possible cause one fight is shotime the other hbo but they both can't fight in Vegas and I doubt there gonna take mayweather date and take mayweather Vegas spot also. Also Vegas will go with mayweather since he's basically is Vegas fights there bet there all the time. So is obvious there gonna fight somewhere else not Vegas if they fight in Vegas then the fight won't be on May 2 it will be the follow weekend. But I write this cause I don't understand why there acting like Vegas is even an option saying Vegas is not the only place were looking into I believe Vegas is not even a place there consider in they should know Vegas is not going to happen. Now if they take mayweather date and some how get to fight in Vegas then that would be crazy that would be mayweather will fight in nyc or not fight at all on that day which I don't see the biggest sport attraction backing down from the day. Is gonna be interesting to see what happens but in my eyes I don't see them fighting in Vegas at all so they should stop acting like Vegas is a choice.. Shotime vs hbo .. Canelo vs cotto in nyc I see Canelo name being first in exchange cotto gets the fight in nyc. Cotto gets his turf Canelo gets the A side has far has name being first..

MSG would be nice, but unfortunately this fight is too big for it not to be in Vegas. MGM Grand is getting the fight. Canelo/Cotto will outsell the **** out of floyd/khan which is most likely gonna happen.

Won't happen in Vegas cause floyd fights in Vegas. Fighting on the same day is ok cause one hbo n the other shotime but I don't see how they both can fight in Vegas mgm. And doubt mgm picks cotto vs Canelo over mayweather vs whoever. Don't know why no one has mention this conflict in the venues. Canelo vs cotto in nyc most likely. But doubt that there gonna tell mayweather he can't fight in Vegas mgm cause there picking cotto vs Canelo. highly doubt it, but will see.

The fight most likely happens in cinco de mayo weekend at the cowboys stadium. Cotto is looking to max out his money. And he knows that fighting a mexican on a mexican holiday will get good ppv revenue if they get good numbers, which is expected to (unless you are a butthurt floyd fan who is worried about the may date for some reason).

Hell yeah!!! The fight I've been waiting for. I hope its fight of the year. Cotto looked great vs. Martinez & Rodriguez but Canelo's got this. If Lara wouldve engaged more Alvarez wouldve done more. He felt that power to the guts. Canelo via KO in 8 to 9rds. I can't wait!

I think it should be held in Vegas. No point having to argue venues and location.

I wonder who feels like they're the A side and B side. I'm guessing both sides will be bending a bit.
