this day in age all the big big fights are in Vegas
The fight is not too big for New York. Only the dreamers still think the fight will take place in Vegas. Cotto is VERY UNLIKELY to agree to having the fight held in Vegas. The venue will be jam packed with Mexicans and Cotto will get the challenger treatment big time. For Cotto to fight in Vegas, Canelo would have to take a small purse, very small. And that makes no sense, Canelo's not taking a small purse in event he loses.

Keep dreaming about Vegas. Bob Arum clearly gave you guys hints that Vegas is out of the question by saying that they are looking at other venues. But continue being blind. Cotto has begun the rude awakening for you guys. And it's going to be rough for you!

"Las Vegas is a great venue to hold a fight but it's not the only venue and if boxing is to survive and thrive in this country it has to go to venues other than just Las Vegas.
    Need I say more?

the typical duck GGG mindset of cotto fans.
I hope canelo wins so we get a canelo GGG fight after that as everybody knows if cooto wins he will refuse to fight the true middleweight king

And look at this guy, still dreaming about Cinco De Mayo.

No way in hell they fighting on Cinco De Mayo. Cotto ain't going be having that! Guaranteed. He's going to tell them to go to hell with that date.

Arum already gave the warning shot -- no Vegas, it'll be at another venue. So think New York, or as someone else suggested, maybe even Chicago. But Vegas? Keep dreaming.

I'm sorry, are you part of Cotto's camp? Because you talk like you are. They're still negotiating. Who knows what's being discussed. What does Cinco De Mayo have to do with Cotto not wanting to fight on that date? It's a Mexican holiday but that doesn't mean he'll get a shady decision.

Floyd fans don't want that fight on Cinco De Mayo. Cotto and Canelo have more of a right fighting on that date than Floyd.

Cotto is not going to fight on a Mexican holiday versus Canelo. You'll soon see.

There's multiple reasons why Cinco De Mayo WILL NOT happen. You'll soon see.

Floyd embarrassed Canelo 12-0, maybe 11-1 and nearly lost a decision there in Vegas, on Cinco de Mayo

If I'm Cotto - I'm looking at that tape and thinking "I might have to kill this kid in the ring, just to earn a draw"

Canelo is boxing's new hope...the new face for PPV in the eyes of the suits. In this matchup - who does the close rounds go to? The guy who will be around, barring injuries or something for the next 10 years, or the guy who'll most likely leave at the end of 2015?

Losing to one past prime HOF is one thing, losing to two, close to your prime is sure to shatter future earning possibilities. It's NYC or bust if I'm Cotto

It was one judge who gives out horrible scores to begin with, who scored for Canelo. Cotto will get more of a fair shake compared to Canelo fighting in New York. At least Cotto fought in Vegas before, compared to uncharted waters for canelo in NYC.

Cotto has fought in Vegas 11 times compared to 0 times for Canelo in NYC. Saying Cotto won't get a fair shake in Vegas is a bit of a stretch.
