Definitely a dying art. Seems like body punching is a dying art aswell.

I often go back and watch Castillo-Corrales 1 to look at some beautiful inside work. That's whar you call inside fighting.

It takes two to tango, Nowadays its acceptable to clinch and hold excessively and is actually considered boxing by the non pugilist, so inside fighting that is real inside fighting rarely gets seen to its full potential, because these new breed of "slick" fighters can get away with clinching and holding non stop. So what ends up happening is the inside fighter get fouled illegally all night (by being held and clinched) and cant get his inside fighting revving at full throttle so the non puglist call him a bum etc menwhile the so called "slick" boxers get the benefit of being called a boxer when in reality he fouling all night.

Rios/Chavez was entertaining, when they weren't fouling each other they were showing a little inside skill.

Rios vs Antillon and JMM vs Katsidis

haven't seen it lately, at least not as finesse as those two

Rios instantly comes to mind. Really really good inside fighter he is, sometimes overshadowed by perhaps poor outside game.
