You guys underestimate Canelo's boxing. He may not move like Willie Pep, but he can move and fight going backwards.

I don't see him beating GGG, but I think it goes to a decision.

I agree, I think Canelo is better than he's shown, but lets also remember that against Lara and Mayweather, the only times he looked lost and not himself was against boxers with above average foot work. GGG is not a boxer, he's a come forward puncher and nothing else. If canelo can come forward and somehow get GGG to respect the power Canelo brings it could be very close. Ive yet to see GGG fight of his back foot, for al we know that could cause problems if Canelo can keep him back. I have this fight ending late maybe 8-9 by KO, or possible a decision. I favor GGG in this fight only because he's a natural 160 pounder, but I wouldn't be surprised if canelo imposes his size and turns the fight around.

I don't understand how people keep saying Canelo isn't a "natural" 160 pounder, he's already given up on trying to make weight for 154. His jr-middle days are over and he's 24 entering his prime.

If a boxer that stays in shape and reaches his prime, wouldn't you say that weight division he is in is surely his ideal division? (bar the phenom division jumping of Pac-man as he was jumping up divisions to make money and win titles, not struggling to make weight)

i think GGG ko's canelo but not 3 rounds.

canelo is a physically strong fighter. its gonna take double digit rounds for GGG to chop down this mexican redwood.

GGG is more of a seek and destroy fighter. He has little regard for covering his face, as he showed against Gardner, Ouma, Rosado, and Stevens. He comes at you and destroys you, overpowers you. Canelo has shown really flashy elusiveness and the ability to box against other boxers and more than hold his own (Trout, Lara).

Hernandez is talking out of his ass. Canelo would go 4 or 5 rounds before getting knocked the *** out.

If GGG won it may not be by ko, he cant ko everyone. Especially a future superstar like Canelo. Canelo is a step up in class.

Id expect Canelo to last the distance. He has a decent enough chin hasn't he

c'mon guys, you know this fight never happens, unless GGG is 100 years old... no way Oscar let's his cash cow take the worst beating of his life... never happens, in a million billion trillion years... Maybe they'll sacrifice Cotto since his career is in the late stages(but doubtful)... but sacrifice Canelo, never gonna happen...This is what happens when you're too good for your own good(GGG)... Finally get to be a headliner on HBO and no one wants to fight you... sport has become such a joke, really.

IF, and that's a big IF, his chin can hold up for 12 rounds, he will take a LOT of hard punches... Which is almost worse than getting knocked out quickly.
