You can bet your ballsack on this fight. I respect Canelo, but theoretically you can be competitive against GGG if you have:

    1. Huge punching power
    2. Elite footwork

Canelo cant knock out a 154 pounder, and his footwork/footspeed is damn sure not elite.

This would be quite a nice match up actually. The angelic butter wouldn't melt face of GGG against the slightly thuggish look of Canelo.
Canelo would be the biggest win of GGG careers name wise, and the same could be said for Canelo as well.

Canelo will put them combos on his ass. Canelos resume at 24 years old is crapping on GGGs. Step up already.

Fair enough if you think Golovkin stops him but 3 rounds!?

Smh, i like Golovkin but fanboyish stuff like this gets irritating. He would have to break Canelo down and stop him mid to late, it surely wouldn't be a walk in the park like Rubio or Geale?

Hernandez is a tool... my buddy dated his niece for a few months and even his family thinks he's a tool.

I don't know about 3 rounds, but I think the fight at some point would end with GGG KO'ing Canelo.

This fight would be very interesting. You have to respect the power of GGG, and the heart of Canelo. Both guys are strong, and very heavy handed. GGG however has not faced anyone even close to the abilities of canelo, and Canelo is also near his prime which is another thing to consider in Canelo. Can he keep GGG back like he did Angulo, or does he just become another victim?

This fight will happen though, I say late 2015-early 2016 but it happens. I don't think the fight between Cotto and Canelo will get made, as it appears Cotto is making negotiations very difficult and being a diva with it. Canelo wont accept all the terms Cotto is asking and he shouldn't. So I think this fight falls apart soon and they both settle for someone else. Cotto will vacate the belt and that will create GGG vs Canelo.
