Canelo is a smart fighter with good boxing skill and good power. You guys act as if Canelo punches like Paulie Malinaggi! We have never seen GGG in with a guy who can actually punch back and has a good ring IQ. Can't wait for this match to take place if ever it does...
Lol at Ggg basic while talking up Canelos supposed skills. Ggg Ko3

Canelo has no movement what so ever. If he couldn't knock Angulo out who stood right in front of him what makes you think Canelo knocks Golovkin out? Golden Boy is too afraid to have Canelo fight golovkin. That's why they were trying to set him up with another mediocre fighter like Clottey. Any boxer with movement takes him to schoo as Lara did.

I will put my money of Canelo any day of the week. In fact, if they did fight I will fly to Vegas and bet it. GGG has many flaws in his game and it will take an experienced, talented veteran like Canelo to expose it. GGG has been fighting bums who will lay down for him and don't really want it.

He would stay up longer than Cotto, thats for sure.

Hope Canelo sacks up. Then make sure to post that fat betting slip here

I don't know about 3. More like 8-10 and maybe a corner stoppage. But I just don't see canelo with his flat footed style and stamina issues beating golovking.

Alvarez is very strong & can take it, but gets hit far 2 much and has virtually no elusiveness...IMO between 5 & 7, but no KO...

this would be a gunfight so you gotta go with the guy with the bigger guns.

GGG however has not faced anyone even close to the abilities of canelo, and Canelo is also near his prime which is another thing to consider in Canelo. Can he keep GGG back like he did Angulo, or does he just become another victim?

This fight will happen though, I say late 2015-early 2016 but it happens. I don't think the fight between Cotto and Canelo will get made, as it appears Cotto is making negotiations very difficult and being a diva with it. Canelo wont accept all the terms Cotto is asking and he shouldn't. So I think this fight falls apart soon and they both settle for someone else. Cotto will vacate the belt and that will create GGG vs Canelo.

When have this hypothesis of yours has been put to test? I have never seen Canelo face real adversity yet.
