Yes, and if Briggs really wanted to fight Wladimir for the titles, why wouldn't he first try and call out one of these legitimate contenders?

I mean he'd make a tonne of money for that too and surely he'd be in a position then to rightfully challenge.

I have this feeling that, if he even was able to get one of these fights, he'd still get his ****in ass kicked!

Shannon Briggs' antics are hilarious, i am a fan and think it's good for boxing but if he got a title shot off his current wins that would be bad for boxing, ironic eh? Last time i checked he's ranked 7th by the WBA and his level of opposition doesn't warrant even top 15.

I'm sure everyone will watch it if it happens though.

To be completely honest, he hasn't earned it as far as ring accomplishments go.

HOWEVER, he has created a lot of buzz and hype around this fight. This world we live in is all about entertainment and controversy, and Briggs has done one hell of a job of making this fight seem appealing. More than just the fight, it would be an event/spectacle. Just imagine the entertainment we will get from the press conferences, to the training camp footage, to the face off... all the way up to fight night.

It will be very fun show. So with that said... he has earned the right to entertain us. Plus, there aren't many exciting fights out there and this is a perfect chance for Klitschko to get payback for all the disrespect he has received.

... I'll be rooting for Briggs though... LET'S GO CHAMP!!!!
