Should Wladimir Klitschko take a fight with Shannon Briggs?

Im torn between it really. Yes id like to see the fight due to the build up and spectacle Briggs brings to the HW division. But on the other hand...What has he done to earn it? Yet again...what did Pulev do? What did Leapai do? Pianeta, Wach, Thompson and the list can really go on...So i can see Briggs right there in the that list. BUT... Id like to see Briggs fight someone solid before he fights Wald.
I also have felt the same way about Wilder. Brings excitement but fights bums. Hence the reason id love to see Wilder and Briggs fight it out for a Wald shot. Could be interesting!

I have mixed feelings about this.

First of all, the new generation of heavyweights (Fury, Wilder, Stiverne, etc.) deserve shots at Wlad if they win their next fights.

But I like what Briggs is doing, and former champs should get one last shot at glory before they retire. (Sam Peter and Tony Thompson each got TWO shots at Wlad, why can't Briggs get one?)

Here's what I think should happen: No more bums. Briggs should prove himself by beating one of the young lions. Not all of them, and I'm not even saying he needs to become a mandatory... he just needs to beat someone in the top 20. Lucas Browne, Andy Ruiz Jr., Steve Cunningham, Tomasz Adamek, Ruslan Chagaev, etc. If he can get a win over one of those fighters and if enough fans are supporting him to make it a big money fight, I am okay with Wlad vs. Briggs.

Let's get this settled then. For whatever ridiculous reasons, I see people on NSB who think this should actually happen. Although it would be a hilarious build up and probably a hilarious fight too, I don't see why Vlad should waste his time so late in his career on this ******ed clown. Thoughts?
