No...men don't peak at 23-24 yrs old...I think he's got a few more years before he peaks..

In terms of his boxing career it's entirely possible that he peaks that young. Many fighters have. I don't think Canelo's peaked but we'll see.

And Oscar acting a fool... Oscar, you know the sport, the only ones making the negotiations complicated are you two. Cotto is the A-side, there is no debating that. Agree to what Cotto asks for... you need him, not the other way around. He can call Mayweather up and set up the rematch for May.

New York, 60-40 in favor of Cotto. Deal with it.

WAR COTTO!!!!!! Destroy that sissy. Im as hyped for this one as I was for the Sergia fight.
ill bet you all my points that this fight doesnt happen in NY...

I agree I highly doubt cotto wants anything to do with ggg at this point in his career. I have a lot of respect for cotto and he's definitely fought the best no doubt, but I think ggg is too much for any from 154-160. IF they do fight...ggg retires cotto..I would still love to see it tho, cause cotto would still be ggg'so toughest foe to date in my opinion.

Maybe the fight doesn't happen but I doubt very much that Miguel Cotto, a 34-year-old long-time star, is interested in anything else besides being involved in big fights. And Canelo represents a big fight. Only a Mayweather fight would be bigger for him. He's going to have his demands and so will Canelo but this is a fight both Arum and De La Hoya need. It should get made.

Very true. it is possible that he peaks soon, but i dont think he will peak for another year. It really just depends on who he takes on. if he fights GGG then he is peaking earlier because of the damage he will probably take in that fight. If he kind of takes another approach he wont peak untill probably 2016.

At Cotto ever accepting the fight locale to be in Texas. Oscar and Canelo are going to learn who the B-side really quick. This fight has a better chance of being in NY than TX. This is a MGM Grand fight and that's plain to see. Oscar knows that too.

This is the most money either will make besides rematching Floyd and that isn't viable right for either right now. They'll find a way to get it done.

                  and another thing,

I knew this fight would be harder to make than people would think. I am willing to bet it is cotto making ridiculous demands, and canelo will eventually accept them. He wants the legacy

Yeah its possible cuz he's been in the gam3 for some time..but as far as hitting his physical peak...I highly doubt it...I think in years to come well see canelo get better and stronger. If this fight happened maybe a couple years from now I would have picked him to beat cotto..but as of right now I got cotto out boxing canelo for most of the fight. Either way..this is an awesome fight and one that boxing needs to stay alive and fans deserves

Such as what? What history does he have of making ridiculous demands? He's the A-side and should be compensated as such.
