Well I think cotto gets a lot of money fighting canelo. I think he got like 7 million fighting maravilla, this would be closer to 10. Also, it's a winnable fight. It bolsters his résumé and gets him paid. Other than canelo who's beatable and would get him paid equally?

No argument here but Cotto probably get at least $5 million no matter who he fights

Forget Cowboy stadium, this fight should be done at Yankee stadium in the Bronx. Would be a bigger night for boxing then a fight in Texas. Nothing against Texas but that just seems to serve Canelo more then anything else. Also Canelo got a draw on a score card in a fight where the outcome was as if he wasnt even in the ring that night. Imagine the Score cards in Texas, lol.

Really man? I don't see it, and I'm not even being a rican fan boy, I just think canelo can be outboxed. Throw in cottos power and I think he beats that Mexican. To me canelos power is overrated, I don't see what he brings to challenge Miguelito. Interesting fight.

Wouldnt mind seeing the fight in a packed Cowboys stadium. What an atmosphere that would be between 2 great fighters. The Pac fights there were good but were unevenly matched. Canelo vs Cotto would do wonders there. Don't see the fight taking place in the east coast.

It IS the biggest fight that can be done next year, barring a sudden Mayweather/Haymon-Arum beef squash to make the Pac fight. But if Cotto gets too tough to deal with, he(Cotto) can always just fight Golovkin, something Canelo says he has no problem doing. Or, Cotto can just fight some weak title holder like Bundrage or unify with Quillin, two decent fights no one would really care about given the other options. Cotto would be ****** to not fight Canelo. It's a big, big fight that would gain a lot of popularity, and would surely live up to the hype with the styles these two bring.
