So let me get this straight; Alvarez "injures" his ankle shortly before he's supposed to fight Clottey. The ankle is "on track" to be ready for a fight with Cotto seven months later, and Clottey is just ass-out. I guess that's a better story than; "Listen, we got so much flack about a fight with Clottey, so we had to come up with a BS reason for cancelling a BS fight. Now, we're focusing on a fight that people won't gag on."Comment

Cotto never gets any kind of credit for some reason. A warrior, never quits (unless he was getting hit with bricks for 11 rounds) and a great fighter.Comment

Damn add another handicapped person to Cotto's list. Cotto must be salivating that Canelo got injured. From beating an old man outside the ring to guys that were injured prior to facing him. This dude just might be a bigger opportunist than Hopkins.Comment

Yea. Cotto knew that canelo was gonna get an ankle injury and thats the reason he is fighting him. Was mayweather injured? Mosley? Margarito? Pacquiao? Clottey? Judah? and dont forget that when the reports came out about martinez's knee, his knee was completely fine, no swelling tears or nothing. Oh he did have a severe concussion and a broken nose. So you can take your fairy tale theories somewhere else.Comment

Cotto would have to be ******ed to pass up on canelo or drive him away with all his diva demands. What other options does he have?Comment
