      Irrelevant.
According to Elroy, 6 foot 5 Scott is also a super athlete from today's division.
He'd be dominating and the champ in the 70's too.

Especially with the heart and chin that he's shown....

Malik Scott is the worst possible style matchup for Alexander Leapai.

Whoever decided that he fight Scott wasn't doing a good job of looking out for his career.

Leapai would have had a good chance of KOing another brawler type like Sam Peter or Shannon Briggs. But he should have avoided slick defensive boxers like Scott and Johnson, who cause him to tire.

You would be hard pressed to find any (long-reigning) HW champion in history who didn't fight mediocre opposition.

Yes Leapai is basically a crap fighter who lucked out by catching Boystov on a slump, but it's not like having a bad mandatory opponent is some new modern phenomenon.

Both sides take the extremes too far with Wladimir and I think we all know why that is.

leapai wasn't mandatory until klitschko lobbied for him to be installed as mandatory. the leapia-boystov fight wasn't a mandatory fight. it was a 10 rounder. only after the bum leapai won did klitschko open his mouth and say leapai deserved the shot.
