land clean punches and made calzaghe miss everything he threw. aka boxing. there wasn't even as much holding as modern fights like brook-porter and some people say that was a great performance lol. hypocrisy.

Lacy, a bum but going in was considered dangerous so you've got to give him that.

Then there's er, erm, yeah well 3 is good.
Do you rate Ward's resume? It's worse than Calzaghe's.

Hopkins landed 1 right hand in the 1st round for the KD and a few more throughout the fight. The rest of the time he was getting bossed via ring generalship. Easy fight to score for me. Calzaghe by wide decision.

Bernard always struggles with guys who are more athletically gifted than him. Not sure if Kovalev fits that mold.

The fact that Hop is 49 and this fight is widely considered 50/50, is amazing in itself.

He whopped up on Bika too after Bika headbutted and cut him proper.

People are gonna see in a week's time, Hopkins is going to put on a session and I think Kovalev's nerves will prevent him from finding a groove.

You mean the corpse that will undoubtedly be considered one of the greatest boxers of all time should he win next weekend?

But there's no maybe about it, he WAS terrible. Always has been always will be.

And that was one of three fighters he fought who was ranked on the top 5 in the divison being fought in. Epic stuff.
So you thought Lacey was terrible even before Calzaghe beat him? Yeah right.

You have no idea how good Chris Eubank was, btw. Outside of the UK, Eubank would be my pick as the most under-rated boxer of all time. He was enormously strong, unpredictable, granite chinned and could hit like a mule.

he whooped bika? um no. it was a close fight. if anyone got whooped it was calzaghe in the last 3 rounds where he was dead tired and bika was whooping him.

yes he bossed the fight by following hopkins around, missing his punches, and running into counters lol. how is it easy to score a fight for the guy not landing and getting countered? because he was trying hard isn't a legit reason.
