Haha after that humiliating beating Joey Zagz put on Hopkins (Haha even played him, and made him his own personal little *****!), Hopkins can't even walk around the mean streets of Philly anymore without the little kids whispering at him, "Joe Calzaghe."

I don't get where this "US judges will favour Hopkins" bs

When it's been shown that his opponent almost always get favoured in close fights whether he's American or not.

The only intrigue in this bout is if Hopkins finally looks his age. Style-wise, Kovalev is tailor-made for him.

If hopkins COULDNT even do anything against someone like Calzaghe.... Just imagine what a future ATG like KovAlev is gonna do to him at 50 years old

It's gonna be a sad night here next Saturday for guys on here thinking Hopkins will win. I literally feel bad already

I wasn't on the this forum at the time of the fight. So, I was talking about fans I know personally that thought Joe was going to lose because they thought that he was an over hyped protected British fighter. And here is something to jump off the page for you. Nineteen of the twenty-six Boxing Scene writers that predicted the fight thought Lacy would win and most thought he would win big.

Just google 'Calzaghe Lacy predictions' and see what the opinions were back then.

It's easy to look back now and say Lacy was over-rated. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. Maybe Calzaghe was and still is criminally under-rated and what he did to Lacy that night made sure he was never the same again.

I'll leave the last word to Joe:
That was very interesting to read from long before I was on the forum and I appreciate the information. Thanks!

And undefeated Kessler and Lacy. Other than these his resume has not been verry good.
