For 122; he sure as hell hits hard as hell.
Same here, I can sit back and enjoy his mastery with no problem.

Look at after the Donaire fight, people on here were livid because he wouldn't just stand in the middle and let Donaire hit him. I like Rigo and will always watch his fights, but I can understand why some don't enjoy watching him. Same thing with Wlad and Hopkins, I appreciate their styles and enjoy watching their fights but at the same time can understand why some don't.
I agree with most your points. Mix in the fact that certain people are puppets and will believe and repeat anything they hear. If good ol' Jim Lampley said it... it must be true!

Stay in the AM? he is 14-0 with 9 KOs and dominates everyone he fights. He's not running, he sticks and moves and even sits in the pocket makes you miss and makes you pay. Lets be real here, if he were another nationality Arum would have marketed him and made him a household name. But the truth is Arum didn't see a large fan base with Cubans and he didn't believe the American public would latch on to him. Rigo has no alter ego that he can sell. Like Ward, Rigo does his job and goes home. If he had a persona that would make people love him or hate him, he would still be under TRP and they would push him on the public. And please don't try to argue against that, because Arum is hyping Algeri up to be a boxing genius. It's a shame that this is happening to Rigo because his skills are 2nd to none.

Miguel Vazquez?? That guy is an excessive clincher with an atrocious style, no grace whatsoever, sloppy as hell. There is no comparison except that they both use their legs. Get out of here with that crap.

Marquez did not go through a public image execution from those which were supposed to promote him. There is a huge difference.

... it would be like about 15 punches landed each round -- with Rigo landing 10 of them...
