Why?? Let's not play ******. If you've seen prime Toney fights and you're still giving Golovkin a strong shot, you're simply playing favorites. Not only is it a disparity between skillsets, but the styles also lean heavily toward James because of the speed and movement. GGG needs opponents who stand in front of him without any defensive body movement.

Edit; sorry, thought you were referring to my first sentence. As far as it being in bad taste, almost everything Toney does now is in bad taste.

And you know golovkin isn't roiding how? Oh i get, we are just making assumptions that suit our agenda.

He's white, he's small, and he smiles a lot, he couldn't possibly be using PEDs, right?

Yeah, I would lean towards the best Toney i've seen over the best GGG I've seen. But what if GGG turns on the goods against Andre Ward for example? It's quite possible we haven't seen the best of him yet.

All i'm saying is that Toney had some hiccups in his prime vs the likes of Tiberi and Johnson for example. It's not incomprehensible to me that GGG could beat him.

But yes, I was referring to why it was bad taste. I think it's pretty common for every boxer to believe they were the best.

Even in looking very dominant, I don't see anything that suggests Golovkin can handle prime Toney. No shame in that either.

                      Toney wins.

GGG cannot handle a prime Toney, especially when he actually trains. He has a very good defense as well that makes it even harder to land punches.
