I still can't get over people on here calling him a quitter. Fights one guy with cement, another on peds, ya real quitter. You want him to die? FOH. All of you would have quit in half a round.
Well I have no proof that pac was roiding so I can't say on that, but, he fought at a catchweight 145 lbs

for those who want to read: the title is "pacquiao admits catchweight is crucial to outcome with cotto"

hate catchweights,, i dont care if its one or two pounds, its still a catchweight,if manny wanted to come in at a certain weight fine but let the other fighter weigh what he is supposed to not what u want him to,,,probably the worst catchweight fight of pacs career was againt oscar,he really went overboard, oscar looked sick

yeah but Williams is the one who asked for the catchweight, martinez said he felt he had to agree otherwise he probably wouldn't get the rematch,i remember Williams trainer saying it's only 2 pounds, and saying they wanted it like that because they were getting ready in case they fought Floyd or manny at 147

judah was on a 2 fight loosing streak, 1 no contest, and his 2 losses were to carlos baldomire and floyd mayweather. Either case it doesnt really matter because Cotto was the underdog and was expected to not be able to handle Judahs speed or power.

Cotto didnt start running to about the 5th or 6th round and he was still fighting so its not like he was running for his life like Mosley. And you quote what a boxer said like it proves some kind of point. I wounder if anybody asked Paul Williams if he could win a fight Face down snoring on the canvas.

These have been 2 of the more entertaining fighters to watch over the years, 2 of my personal favorites. But, Cotto is superior on so many levels: technique, hand speed, power, strength, speed, defense, ring generalship, iq, etc. His body has adapted above the welter limit whereas Maidana is a soft welter. The only thing comparable for Chino is chin, stamina. Miguel is all kinds of wrong style wise for Maidana. The current version of both fighters @154 ends in Chino getting stopped easy, the best 147 versions end in Chino taking a vicious beating, the best 140 version could probably be an instant classic with Chino getting stopped late. I see way more scenarios with Chino getting stopped and few if any of Cotto.
