**** YEHH!! But at the same time, **** no!! Cotto and Maidana are two of my top 3 fav fighters.... I'd rather see Maidana go after Canelo and beat him the **** up!! I'd go crazy for that fight, absolutely borderline bananas psychotic.

    WAR CHINOOOO!!!!!! Go after Canelo!!

Someone made comments about Cotto running from Pac in their fight. It's funny because I just rewatched this fight 2 days ago after not seeing it in years.

Cotto was right on par with Pac for the first 4 rds. He just took a lot of brutal shots in those early rounds that started to work his face badly ontop of lots of body shots Pacquiao snuck in. The knockdowns really shook Cotto up and the 4th rd knockdown shocked Cotto to the core. He went back to his corner all shaken up including a final straight left that Pac landed before the bell rang in the 4th.

He was not weight drained at all with a 1lb difference. It was the accumulation of a high pace that Pac set and the crazy amount of punches he took early on that broke him down. Pac fought possessed and he ate his own large numbers of shots but kept going.

How you got so much rep power while being so ***in dumb is beyond me.

Cotto would be the first to ko maidana. He wouldn't stand there to be hit.

I like Maidana, but at 154, Cotto stops him.

So your answer is yes: you are counting the first Margarito fight to support your "quitting" assertion.

However, I agree that after the fourth round against Pacquiao he was in survival mode. He had no "plan b" in that fight. It was tough to watch.

But to characterize him as a quitter based on those two performances -- is particularly unjust. Boxers deserve more respect from true fans of the sport.

He don't want it with Cotto. That's an embarrassing one sided KO loss for Chino.

maidana doesn't belong at that weight. his power will disappear, his punches will be slow, and any form of stamina he once had will be gone. cotto would destroy marcos at that weight. chino really belongs at 140, he should face danny garcia instead.
