If Cotto is Welterweight or JrMW than he should not claim to be lineal MW champion. As I said - he doesn't HAVE to fight GGG if he's too small but than just vacate the MW belt and go on.

I doubt that GGG will move up to 168 to fight Andre Ward. Everyone is entititled to their opinion or doubts. GGG's trainer's opinion doesn't carry any more weight than anyone else's.

My biggest question about this situation is why is the WBC allowing a champion from another sanctioning body to fight for the WBC "interim title" and then order the regular champion to fight him. The former president of the WBC would never allow a champion from another sanctioning body to be ranked in the WBC rankings, let alone fight for an interim title.his whole thing smells like a bad carp.

Clowns, screw the organizations. It's about fighting the best at their best to see who's the best! I know that's old school, and pretty scary for today's fighters and promoters. But Floyd needs to grow a pair of ballz and fight Manny, and Cotto needs to defend is 160 title against Gennady at 160.
