lol. Hmmm. lets see, because he was winning fights and going up on the pound for pound list??? And because before his injuries he was 3rd on the pound for pound list for a good while behind floyd and ward??? Oh thats right, you dont give him credit for his wins. But somehow those Foreman and Mayorga wins were outta of this world!! lol

When did I say the foreman and mayorga wins were "outta this world"? In late 2010, he won his wbc title when he beat pwilliams. Martinez was stripped and then after chavez jr-rubio, was made the mandatory for the wbc title in 2011. So, again, theres no point in that fight being made. Martinez wanted to reclaim "his" wbc title. ****, he was even awarded the wbc "diamond" belt in his next fight, I guess just for the wbc to keep him happy.
You could talk about the belt all you want. But Cotto said it himself in the clip, Sergio brought no money and was too risky. If the 2011 Sergio had the WBO JMW title around his waist it wouldnt of made a difference. Sergio at that point was in the same position as GGG is in now, desperate to fight a name! Cotto was at 54, where Sergio previously competed, and the other name Chavez was at 60. Those were the guys he was shooting for. Chavez finally accepted the fight, and Sergio gave him a boxing lesson and received critical injuries in return. We all know how that turned out.Comment

Yeah. He casually slipped it in out of nowhere like an RKO
He was like "Yeah so Golovkin is the GOAT and Mayweather is a ducking coward..... but what would you do if you were butt naked and blindfolded with three black dudes surrounding you? Wouldn't that be weird?"
Needless to say, most people logged off shortly afterwards...Doesn't really surprise me, dude comes off as the biggest b**ch on this site.

Many would say that was choosing to fight ingured/shot opponent i.e. choosing much more winnable fight over more money but riskier fight. Both (yours and the one above) are not facts but just that - opinions.Comment

Why should he fight GGG? He makes more money fighting Canelo or Floyd. More recognition if he beats Canelo or Floyd and probably has a better shot at beating those two as well. Lets be honest GGG, is way too big for Cotto, and that will be a huge advantage for him in a fight with Cotto. Now I don't believe Cotto will never fight GGG, but that fight will always be there for him because GGG will always be an avoided fighter.
So, why now, when he has bigger paydays out there? Also I am a big fan of GGG, but what has he done to deserve the big fights? Who has he really beaten? Why not fight a big name that is not at the elite level like Chavez Jr, that way he can keep building up to the elite level and keep getting his name out there for the casual fans. Btw, Martin Murray is not the key to that either, Carl Froch on the other hand would also be a good choice. In fact why doesn't any1 believe he should at least get the other belts before facing Cotto, how about a fight with Quillin? It doesn't do much to promote himself with the casuals but it is another belt, or do they worry Quillin could win and ruin his chances on picking on the smaller Cotto, now who is scared?
I'm not saying Cotto should or is obligated to fight GGG. Cotto doesn't have a chance. Not even slightest. But than he should just give up the MW WBC belt and fight in weights where he's comfortable and stop claiming that he's lineal MW champion.Comment
