Its a shame when a fighter has to beg to fight another fighter. Isnt it? Just imagine if Floyd was begging to fight Manny! It may show he wants to fight Manny. But thats not the case. Manny has to beg to fight this Coward.

Floyd dont believe in fighting the best their is. Or fighting a fighter that will generate the most money in Boxing history. lol what a puszy!

Doesn't matter what he says. Only what his promoter says.

          January 7, 2012 ESPN:

Friday's turn of events made that pretty clear. There have been previous negotiations and lots of rhetoric. At various times throughout this whole ordeal, I believe both sides have been to blame.

But at this moment, the fault of a fight not being made falls squarely on the shoulders of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who, in my view, simply doesn't want to make the match at a moment when there seems to be no legitimate impediment.

Arum doesn't want to match his cash cow, Pacquiao, with somebody he doesn't control, and he has no control over Mayweather. He once did, but that was years ago, before their nasty breakup...

It was just this week that Arum said he would go to the Philippines to meet with Pacquiao and present him with the names of four possible opponents for May or June: Miguel Cotto, Marquez, Lamont Peterson and Timothy Bradley Jr.

Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested.

He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May. Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune.

"We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone.
I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week? A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope."

          http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...yweather-fight

I agree with Dan Rafael! Arum killed that fight on purpose, to keep his cash cow safely in his pocket. I won't ever blame Floyd for not fighting Pacquiao while he is promoted by Arum. If Manny never gets the fight, it's his own fault, he should've dumped Arum after this stunt...unless he really ddn't want the fight in the first place.
The fact that that article came from fat dan speaks volumes to me... He's always been a TR SHILL... one of the few times he decided to keep it real.

This jose sooto fella will be sacked from TMT next

For years I've never seen anything but Manny, Arum, Ariza when they had him, Roach and every boxing fan in the whole world say the same thing!

There's no point in ANY of us begging!

Floyd will never fight him under any circumstances.

Even if he agrees or gives some indication that he will take it, don't get your hopes up. He will always pull some excuse to back out and THEN pull an even lamer excuse to shift the blame to MAnny etc.

In fact, I don't think we will be seeing Floyd fight a top opponent... Probably ever again!

Get this through your thick skull pac: "floyd's b1tchass will never fight you, period"..

Hell, i think floyd beats pac now, just dont think floyd has the balls to get in the ring with him...they (even boxers, atg's even) dont call floyd a coward for nothing....

Here's a big difference between floyd and warriors by heart: warriors fight even without the capability to win....real talk!..

The fight will have to happen in 2016, Mayweather will be a free-agent at that time and I think he's going to split from Al Haymon soon and probably return to HBO where the two biggest fights he can make are Mayweather vs. Pacquiao and Mayweather vs. Golovkin.
