I'm sure you know as much about pac as I do. Pac Is a congressman in his country, a basketball coach/Player, business owner ect, ect, ect. He's only human. Leaving top rank to be his own boss seems really hard on someone who's already got so much going on..I'm not dis agreeing with you. I think he should have left when he had the chance but you also have to consider those facts.

Unbelievable. Pacquiao just expressed his desire to fight Floyd, and here come people doubting him, instead of asking Floyd to accept the fight. You guys must really be paid by Floyd to write these things, or you are all Floyd himself. Your motivation is for the fight not to happen.

Of course they are paid by Floyd, there are about 5 or 6 guys on here (roughly half of Floyd's entire fan base) who are on the roll to try their very best to save face for him.

For example, some guy made a comment here posts ago..

"Manny is begging for a fight so bad now. It's really sad!"

In other words Manny WANTS to fight you, and you are ducking him, publically, with no shame whatsoever, THAT is the thing that is really sad, you can't even come up with an excuse anymore!

This has now eclipsed the WBC belt trashing of Rid**** Bowe when pressured to fight by LEnnox Lewis. Disgraceful!

In my opinion Manny should probably not even worry about fighting Floyd anymore because he is a HAS BEEN!

The fight will still generate buzz and money, but not NEARLY what it could have done from 2008-2010. Sad thing is, that's when Manny had the best chance of beating Floyd. Pacquiao was literally unbeatable when he hit his peak. He was faster than Mayweather, punched incredibly hard, had better stamina, and was even pretty tactically sound. Mayweather also had that tinge of fear when he talked about him.

Now Mayweather can turn any fight into a 1-punch-at-a-time defense-a-thon, while Pacquiao has clearly lost a step and some pop.

It would be a boring Mayweather decision.

What I don't understand in all of this about Mayweather and his fan base is: why do they keep coming up with reasons for him not to fight Pacquiao? Why circle around a question instead of answering it?

Can't fight him because he (Pacquiao) has gotten older and slower.

Well why did Mayweather fight Mosley, Marquez, or Cotto then?

Can't fight him because he has losses in recent fights.

Why fight Maidana or...3/4 of the guys on your record?

Pacquiao doesn't generate the PPV numbers Mayweather does.

His (and his fans) reasons are absurd. It's like defending the wrong answer even when you know it's wrong, but you're so stubborn that you refuse to concede the point. We aren't talking about opinions here.

Why question Manny for wanting the fight instead of asking why Mayweather won't do it? Why complain that Manny is now too old when it was Floyd who stopped it from happening during their prime? Furthermore, why not take solace in the fact that the fight should be easy then?

Just answer questions directly instead of running in circles away from the reality of the situation: Mayweather avoided Manny at all costs when Manny was most dangerous. If the fight happens in the near future, it will be a farce, and a shell of what it could have been.

Yes Floyd fought the WBA WW Champion twice, immediately. How many times did Manny fight Marquez at WW? Was Marquez a WW Champ when he fought him? How many times did he fight Bradley? Was Bradley a WW champ when he got his shot at Pac? What about Algeri? Is he a WW Champ? Like I said...there's no comparison in competition! The mega-fight of 2015 is Cotto vs. Canelo. Accept what fight? Pac's team went from saying they were in serious negotiations, to speaking negatively on Floyd, to speaking about moving down in weight, to talking about fighting Vargas. At what point has a contract been drawn up, or even contact to Mayweather? there is nothing to accept. Pac and his team are all lip service.
